Weekend battles
So how did it go? Very good I would say, as I won two of three matches. But I would call it more of a beginners luck than anything else. I was able to borrow some units so my army of 998 points consisted of:

Motivational challenge and other stuff
Pledge for May will be 5 skinks with handweapon and blowpipe.
It will only be five of them because with the pledge of april it felt like I had to rush it in the end. By doing this I hope that it will lead to better quality and that I don’t have to feel that I have to repaint some of it.

Pledge for the month of april: done!
The ten Saurus warrios are done and here are the results:
I’m sort of happy with the result except for the banner as I didnt know how to paint it and I will probably repaint it at some point.

Pledge for the month of april
For this month my pledge will be ten Saurus warriors. Three of them will be a Saurus Champion, Musician and a Standard bearer.
As for now they all look like this and unlike with the saurus oldblood/scar-veteran I will paint everything before I put it together.

Challenge Complete
So challenge for march is done:
The scales on his right leg got a little messed up as I tried different painting schemes on it, other than that I’m satisfied with the result.
Game time
Had a game of warhammer this friday against a friend. I played my lizardmen and he played as the tomb kings.
I won by a large margin as he only killed two of my saurus warriors and 10 temple guards. Two of my cold one cavalry died but that was because of that I charge through woods. While I managed to wipe him out. To be fair though I was very lucky with my rolls, especially with my charge with...

Challenge for March - A New Beginning!
This month will be special because I have decided to start play Warhammer fantasy. I was choosing between Warriors of Chaos or the Lizardmen and after some time arguing with myself I choose Lizardmen.
So I bought the starterbox and a Saurus oldblood this week. I will start slowly by only painting the Saurus oldblood for this month and hopefully a squad for the next but we shall see:

What is this? an update?!
Well alot of stuff has happening this month. First my phone died and is was gone for 2 weeks for repairs. So I couldn’t take any good pictures. I have quit my job and started to go to university.

The Fleet
As per request from Angelsanguine this is my fleet that is painted so far:
So what’s left to paint? 1 dreadnaught, 1 large flier, 6 escort ships, 3 smal fliers, 2 more inaris, more tiny flyers and then I have to buy the sea carrier and paint that.

Battleship operational and mission: total failure
It only took 20 days to complete the battleship…
As for mission: total failure I succeeded to destroy my drybrush pencil, failed when primeing the destroyers and spill alot of wash paint so that is now almost an empty bottle! I’m awesome!
Painting Frenzy!
I have had alot of free time lately and not much to do so I have painted alot. So I have already finished my april challange which was to finish 3 more frigates.
But I have also finished two more cruisers so that the cruiser squad is done.
And I have started on my battleship, it will probably not be finished this week because of work and other stuff but maybe next week.
